Has your phone been rooted in the past? Looks like a common issue for htc where phone firmware has been changed

What happens if you tap or hold the exclamation mark?

Just been googling this @jonsie  Quite common problem discussed on the HTC forum ...says system failed to update properly and tapping on the exclamation mark should open message which tells you what you need to do?...

However...I will leave to the experts  ...Smiley Very Happy

Also when you see red triangle press vol up and power. You should see an error report.
