Have had an HTC One x+ for a good few months now and am really loving it, but it's started acting up over the last few days. It says there is no service available and when I go into the settings it says the Airplane Mode is turning off, but it is greyed out. I can sometimes get it to work again by holding down the power button for 10 secs to reset it, and I can sometimes get it to reset by holding down the power button for a few seconds till the 3 options come up, click on turn airplane mode off and then restart, but these don't always work. I've currently got wi-fi working as I'm home, but have tried a dozen or so times and can't get it to reset properly today. Sometimes it will just start working again of it's own accord, but shuts off again at random times again. I'm fairly certain it isn't a network problem as it has been happening to me in Northampton, Stirling, Glasgow and various service stations on the M6 as well.
I don't want to do a factory reset unless I absolutely have to as I've got loads of games downloaded and the back up facilities for the phone aren't exactly great. Having a check online makes me think I'm not alone in this problem, nor is it just a One x+ or indeed an O2 problem...
Anyone got any other suggestions?
Cheers
Chris
