I have been charge .99p x 50 times for Google play yesterday!!! £49.50 for Google Play!! Anyone else had this problem?

No definitely not, it could prove costly. As you said, you would have done it automatically when setting up any phone.

I have to admit Google Play is the only account where I don't have a password set up. All my other accounts require a password before ordering.

Problem with that @Glory1 is if your Google account was ever compromised, this would give the thieves access to your credit or debit card, without any restrictions.

Good point @MI5. I've decided I've been lucky for too long. So I've just set up a password on Google Play as well. No point taking unnecessary chances.

It was the purchase of Clash Royale at 99 pence, however after online chat with O2 it may be that you are charged each time you play the game?? I have left a query with Google Play but they state 2 working days for a reply

You will be charged if you buy pack add ons whilst playing the game but as far as I know, the game is free to download.

I don't have my card details set up in Google, these are charges on my mobile phone bill.  It is for a game called Clash Royale for 99pence, however they have charged me 50 times for it.  I have complained to Google Play (takes 2 working days for a reply) and complained to O2 who think I am being charged each time the game is played!!!
