Galaxy Y WiFi connection problem -

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi all,

hope someone can help with this.

trying to connect a samsung galaxy y to my home wifi (other phones etc all connected and working ok).

I scan for wifi connections, and it finds my router ok. I've entered the password correctly, but when trying to connect it keeps coming up with 'authentication error occured'.

on the top left of the phone I can see the wifi symbol and there's a question mark in it. it tells me that wifi networks are available, i then select my home one, and 'connect' but nothing happens after that.

need to get thie wifi sorted as I'm using all my data allowance up

Have you tried 'forget network' then rebooting the phone and trying again? Invariably with problems like this it's usually a password problem.
