Not wishing to be outdone by Apple, Samsung have just started to push out another update for unbranded UK S3's.

Anyone with a CSC of BTU can get this now directly off Kies or wait a few days for the OTA update (over Wifi).

NOTE. Only for unbranded phones so if you have O2 firmware you'll have to wait.....

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Well this is weird, I hooked my S3 up my computer and loaded Kies.

I got an message in the bottom right of the screen telling there was new firmware, so I clicked to download it, (the file was over 900 meg) when it had finished another message appeared and told me to "click here" to install the firmware, I did so and nothing happened!

Now I already have Jelly Bean 4.1.2, but I thought that maybe since I'm with 3 there is later firmware for their S3s.

But since nothing has been installed, am I right to assume Kies is just acting up?
