Can someone tell me how they viewed 4k videos on youtube, was it through the youtube app?
I know you can do it through chrome browser on note 4, but youtube app for me only shows 720p as max, on my note 3 it shows 1080p, some people report having 1440p on youtube app, I've had to download the 4k videos via tubemate app to see them, doesn't work well in my browser when I've tried.

Native 4K isnt available through Youtube.....1080p max i believe however the 4K videos on youtube still show excellent colour/contrast etc on the handset.
Download a native 4K film trailer (Transformers is a good one) and you'll be amazed!!

I'm pretty sure in chrome browser youtube can show 4k, you need to change youtube website to show as desktop, the select resolution to 4k.
I will check out the transformers 4k trailer, I assume i can grab this video from youtube with my tubemate app
