Extortionate bill!

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello, I own a Sony xperia z3,
I was sold lots of things by o2 when I got my phone, about how I needed bigger packages on my phone as 4g uses the Internet faster so I needed more data etc.
My phone recently has been repaired, I pay £14 a month for my insurance, yet today I was told the reason my bill was £116 (APPROX) was because I had paid £60 for insurance fees!!! , why would I choose to have it insured and pay such an amount, also without my knowledge, I was not told I would be paying this, even after speaking to the guy on the phone.
To be honest I have been thinking about changing from o2, despite being with them for 9years, the fact my phone is £55 a month anyway, and I was made to have bigger packages etc, its just ridiculous now!

It's the excess that all insurance policies charge and will be listed in the small print of your policy terms.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Always read the terms when taking out any type of policy. The excess is always written into them but I agree you should have been made aware of one of the main facts.
