Samsung s6 edge security updates

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi all,
i've today got myself a samsung s6 edge and it keeps telling me there's a security threat.
This appears to be quite well documented online as a common problem but there seems to be no solution at present.
Does anyone have any idea how to sort this out? Or do I need to return it?
Thanks.

@viridis has the Edge...not sure if he has this issue?

Have you got a link to anything you have read about it?

I believe the error is security.agent.login stating 'Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your phone to undo any unauthorized changes.'

Unless you genuinely have an app which is a threat installed then it is just likely a glitch (I've seen out on fresh out of the box devices)

On your phone head to settings, about, updates, make sure you are on Wi-Fi and allow your phone to complete the update(s).

I would suggest backing your phone up via Samsung Smart Switch beforehand and keeping your device on charge whilst it does it's thing.

Difficult to help you without more info regarding the message you are receiving.

I could guess but would rather have the facts first please?
