Hello

I have been using a Galaxy S3 for a couple of years with no problems at all.

I have just got a new Galaxy Note 3 and for the life of me it won't let me add my email accounts.

I have put in exactly the same settings as the S3 but it keeps saying unable to connect to email server etc. etc.

I am at a loss as to what to do as they are EXACTLY the same settings.

Can anyone help me?

Many thanks in advance.

Hello

Thank you for all the replies, and apologies for the delay but have been working away.

I have a personal domain that I only use for emails but I rang o2 in the end, and I have managed to get it sorted.

Thank you though.  I am trying to get used to the Note 3 as there are many things you find in different places to the galaxy S3!

What e mail clients are you using.

Are you choosing pop3 etc in the settings.

We need more info from you regarding your email provider.
I would suggest the settings are not exactly the same and maybe there is an error in your password or security settings?
Remember passwords are case sensitive.

As the others have said, can you tell us things like:

1 - what the email provider is

2 - which client (stock?) are you using

3 - can you give us details of the errors

Will be something simple for sure, once we get this info we should be able to help slight_smile
