Hello.

i was wondering if anyone out there had any ideas about an issue that has come up over the weekend, an issue that is proving to be very frustrating.

I'm a member of an art site called Deviantart, and since Sunday morning each time I try to access the site I keep getting ERR_CONNECTION_RESET come up on my pay monthly tablet.  It even comes up on my pay as you go phone.  I have followed the official advice of clearing cookies, the cache, and my internet history.  I reset everything after carefully backing everything up, and still nothing.

Now, it might be an issue with the site itself, but I have emailed another member and he is having no problems whatsoever, and he had been wondering where I was as we are in the middle of a collaboration project, as I am with several other members.

I know that members of the community aren't officially part of the O2 team, but any ideas would be most welcome.

You say the error occurs on your phone too so just wondered if you are using the same wifi connection as when trying on your tablet?
Can you try on mobile data or on a different wifi connection?

Just checked, and everything seems to be working again.  I wonder what the problem was, as I contacted other members of the site and they didn't have any problems!

Everything seems to be fine now, which is a huge relief.
I wonder what the problem was?

I haven't got wifi, and my phone is pay as you go whilst my tablet is pay monthly. It seems others were also affected, which indicates that it was a problem on the net itself.

Thanks for the advice though.

Thanks for the reply, and the links.

The issue seens to have resolved itself, and I wasn't the only one affected, which indicates that it was a wider problem.

Don't know what the problem was, but I'm determined to find out, especially if it might happen again.

Sounds like their site blocking certain IP addresses.
Probably just a temporary glitch.

this website is blocked by the adult content filter, it is also blocked on t-mobile.

it will work sometimes because https is difficult to block.

you will need to get the adult content filter removed to use this website

Usually, you would see an O2 page load with details of how to remove the restriction if that was the cause......
