Damien1....my problem was initially on 3 of my family contacts also on O2. Then it became habitually with just one (my daughter in law) who had an LG phone on O2...she changed to Samsung, and we still kept dropping out, but after the antenna on my phone was looked at, it has never happened since...(I can only contribute my experience here as I continue to be technophobicSmiley Frustrated)

I didnt mean any offence mate just would seem a bit odd to be both phones but possible slight_smile

I am having similar issues.
When out and about my 3g signal us extremely intermittent and weak. I can be in city centre and still no data to simply load G+ or Facebook.

I've tried a sim swap from O2 and an android reset to factory settings but still same bother.

My signal strength is showing -90db at best but O2 on phone and in shop said that's still ok.

Call centre stated a mast was down in city centre but no record on O2 website and why would one mast kill my reception?

Surely they should just be offering to fix it rather than all this passing the buck?

They will fix it but they won't give you a deadline as all sorts can effect it, access to land, weather etc
