MI5 where are you? Blondie...yes I had a lot of problems with my S3 with calls dropping out, and seemingly no problems with network. Had a lot of help from MI5 and it seemed it was the antenna on my phone. Had it looked at and now ok. However I am aware there can be a number of reasons for this so I am sure someone on here can help Good Luck

Cleoriff, I was more inclined to think the issue is network related as both phones were effected, but yes, if the clean SIM and check status doesn't reveal any problems it could well be a similar issue to yours....
Would be a bit weird on 2 phones at the same time surely

Damien1....my problem was initially on 3 of my family contacts also on O2. Then it became habitually with just one (my daughter in law) who had an LG phone on O2...she changed to Samsung, and we still kept dropping out, but after the antenna on my phone was looked at, it has never happened since...(I can only contribute my experience here as I continue to be technophobic)
