Solved: Communications notifications

Can anyone help my dad has communications notifications on his front screen only when phone is locked but he has no idea were it's came from thanks in advance

OK, I've found what you're seeing. It's one of the lock screen options that you can set. If selected it will show a summary of sms, email and other message services. You get to it by touching on the clock on the lock screen and sliding your finger to the right.
If you no longer want it on lock screen press and hold on the box and drag it to the bin at top of screen.

Hi,

What phone are you using.

can you attach screen shots ?

With some phones you can pull down a notification screen down from the top of the phones screen and clear them there.

It's a galaxy s3 he's using I pulled down the notification bar to see if there was anything on it but nothing that would make that message appear

Mi5 there are no notifications there it's just a square box with communications notifications as like the title of said box

But what message is it - ie what does it say in the message ?

I can only guess they must be coming from an app he has installed ?
