Hi, my Sony Xperia xa1 has a sudden problem with charging, the guru said it's a problem with the phone port itself and to take it into Carphone warehouse where I purchased it from to get it fixed, has anyone else had this problem with their phones? My phone will now not charge at all unless I wiggle the lead about and hold it in place to get a connection, even then it's in and out of charging the phone.

Unless it is abuse, it should be covered under warranty.

@pip1 You're going to have to take it to CPW as you've been advised. If it has to be sent off for repair, back up anything you need, delete anything that may be sensitive (i.e. banking app details), and make sure you remove the sim.
