Can't send txt's

Anonymous
Not applicable
I bought a nexus 5x a few weeks ago. When I try to send a txt it won't send and says card 1, error 28. I've tried texting different people and it has never worked. Then the other day I sent a photo which did work. I had to switch to a nano sim when I got the phone. Any ideas?? It's driving me mad.

I guess you got the wrong nano sim for your account.
Contract and PAYG must have their own specific sim card.

Hi @Anonymous Have you checked your message setting numbers are correct?

You may also need to check your sim is inserted properly. Take it out and re-insert...reboot the phone and try again..

Yep, even if you change the message centre number it will default to sim type each time the phone is turned on.

They just need to pop into an o2 shop and swap to the correct type of sim card. Simples slight_smile
