I know I'm not the first to ask this, but I can't send texts from my Nexus 4 (Pay Monthly). I can get incoming texts. I have tried inputting the SMCS number +447802000332 but when I click Update it gives me 'update error' message. Can anyone talk me through exactly how I set this up please.

It's possible you have a Pay and Go sim so you won't be able to change the number as it reads it from the sim card.
I got a phone for a friend recently and it wouldn't work with the P and G sim sent with it, so I had to get a new Pay Monthly sim for it.
It's also possible your account isn't set up fully yet.

Thanks - turns out I am actually on PAYG and I had requested a pay monthly sim - 02 helpline says this should make no difference, but am beginning to think requesting a new sim might be the answer. Also - how would I know if my account hadn't been set up fully?
