Blocking a number on note 4

Hi all I'm wondering if you could help me out as I don't know how to block a number on my note 4 checked settings etc cant find anything did add number to auto reject but texts still come through

iPhone 15 plus 128Gb light pink & Apple watch series 9 pink (Celluar all with Vodafone slight_smile

Open messages then touch the 3 dots at the top. choose settings.

Alternatively long press the message and you get the option to block.

you need to block the number in the phone app and also in the message settings.

Note 3 but the same process and I believe we have educated her on that process wink

(and actually the Note 3 doesn't present with three dots in the message app. You get the configuration by pressing the bottom left hand soft key...)
