Hi There

Does anyone know when this will be dropping on O2 and specifically on a Samsung S6?

Cheers,

Lee

I was thinking of downloading it from sammobile.com. Or would it be advisable to wait for the OTA update once O2 have bloated it up?

Entirely up to you but if you trip knox or brick it you may find your warranty screwed. If you're familiar with flashing you should be ok though.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Is the Sony update with o2 being checked, in this case Z5?

This week we've approved Nougat for... *drumroll...*

Sony Z5
Sony Z5 Premium
Sony Z5 Compact
Sony Z3+
Sony Z4

We're not sure yet if these will all roll out at the same time or not but we hope you'll start seeing these over the next few weeks, so eyes peeled if you've got one.

Some Sony devices such as the XZ, X & X Compact already have the Nougat-y goodness slight_smile

Thanks for that information, but can you confirm if this the first sony roll out (which was stopped due to problems) or is this a new version without the problems?

This should be the most up to date software we've been sent by Sony - i'll see if I can find version numbers for you however.

Many thanks. The software version that Sony have stopped until fixed is 32.3.A.0.372, if anyone else wants to read it, it can be found on the Xperia Blog site.  https://www.xperiablog.net/2017/01/23/43791/
