Has began rolling out for Z5.

It's the same for Z5, Z5 Premium, Z5 Compact, Z4 Tablet and Z3+.

I've only updated my Z3+ so far. Was expecting 6.0.1 not 6.0.

You can't use the memory card as internal or move your apps to it any more. There are no stamina mode battery settings any more. Nor the new Marshmallow Doze settings which kind of replace that. 

The small apps have new icons but I can't access them; ie they won't open.

The phone icon on lock screen has been replaced by a microphone.

What a nightmare....

Only z5 as far as I know right now but I'll update if I hear anymore.

Z5 O2 UK, and Z3+ O2 UK are in the rollout for today.
Expected imminently are
Z5 compact, Z5 premium, Tablet Z4 (UK generic and O2 UK)

Not got any of those issues on my S3 but not updated my Z1 yet so maybe a Sony thing?

Have you performed a repair installation with pc companion?
If not, can you back up your phone and perform one, then feedback.
