Hi,

I had a Virgin Media account now O2 - monthly payment direct debit. Got 3 phones on the account - separate users. I've always purchased handsets through Virgin in the past but have bought a phone (Samsung S23 ultra) independently as I got a better deal elsewhere.

My loans for the existing phones are all clear. My question is, once I activate the new phone, will it keep the old number and will I be able to swap the SIM card into it without problem. the old phone was also a Samsung (S10+). Thanks in advance for any help.

Just put the sim in the phone and it will work fine.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
