SwitchUp online seems to cause lots of issues....
Best thing to do is call up the sales team on 0800 081 0255 and get them to help get the order complete.
You more than likely wont get the phone for launch day now.

At this stage I wish I just done it in store when preorders went live
These live chats and phone chats get repetitive after a while with the same questions
Edit: It will let me cancel the order in my basket
That's what I've been doing the last 3 times
I just feel like I'm not getting anywhere
Even doing the switch up on the website it keeps saying my iPhone 15 is only compatible with recycling not switching up when I put the imei number in

I've been doing the switch up either on live chat or over the phone
And every time the sames happened
I've had order numbers for all 4 orders they just don't seem to show complete on o2 end
This time I'll wait the 72 hours but yeh annoyed I won't get it on launch day as I've been trying since Friday afternoon

If it makes you feel any better it’s been like that for lots of customers even those on networks elsewhere had issues. EE and Sky were particularly impacted this year although not quite as bad as O2 who year-on-year don’t seem to plan well for iPhone pre-orders.
O2’s systems went down for contact centre and their stores so they might not have been able to help much.

All else fails I'll be at my o2 store Friday like a man demented 😅 seeing if they have stock and I'll just do it instore like I done on my last switch up

I was going to say unless you want 16 Pro as that one seems to be available everywhere still for Friday... then good luck.
And to add to @garetc 's comment even Apple have had issues, with orders been cancelled and payments not been taken.

We need to let you know the delivery of your order (no: xxxxxxxxxxx). is taking longer than expected. Sorry. It should be with you between Up to 2 weeks.

mine says up to 3 weeks! Did click & collect in-store
tried Mobile phone direct after o2 website kept crashing! That order failed so around 4.30-5pm I ordered 16PM 256GB silver titanium!
hope to get it sooner then 3 weeks let’s see happens
