Hi folks,
Basically similar to everyone else, ordered at 2pm or so on 13.9.24. It was an upgrade, got a text to confirm it. Order is now sitting on Processing and est delivery date 20.9.24. Seems unlikely the CS can help on chat or phone. Just going to keep an eye on the order. A family member did the same via Sky, they just got a txt saying the new phone would be delivered by next weekend. Is a new O2 system to blame ? I have been with them for years and its always been much smoother than this.

Prob more to do with Apple, since the 16/Plus/Pro are ready to dispatch.

So you get it as soon as possible.

So my old order got cancelled and remade, guess my order was fully broken. Also got an email today to say 2 weeks.
I phoned up and they put a request into the back office as the customer service staff don't have access to the orders as such.
Don't think they fully recovered from the CrowdStrike issues.

with supply issues! Nothing o2 can do to speed the process up! No need to bombard them! Just wait it out till your phone is ready to collect or be delivered!
all company’s are having stock issues EE Vodafone o2 etc even Apple!
Apple do this each year but thankfully the wait is 2-3 weeks

This wasn't me bombarding (if aimed at me). Wasn't a stock issue (in my case), the order got stuck and they had to redo it

That’s so frustrating, I hope you get your order soon.
I switched up my other line and the order to close down the handset loan is stuck. For the last 2 months I’ve had to call every billing day and get them to credit me the charge for the old handset back.

o2 weren't affected by the Crowdstrike issues.
What has happened is o2 have bungled a migration of warehouse software. which has caused issues from what we can gather between the front end platform and the CRM / Order Picking platform and has caused all sorts of issues not just with the iPhone but any device some people have ordered since and the past launch of the Pixel 9 Devices.
And unfortunately if your order is cancelled because of it, it's a new order, and goes to the back of the queue, and there is very little anyone can do about it.... as are they going to pee off another customer to give you their handset???
Best thing to do is ask for gesture of goodwill towards your bill...
Apple have cancelled Pre-Order, as have EE etc and its a PITA..
I know your pain with switchup going wrong, hopefully o2 IT will fix it at somepoint
