Hey Guys,
We’ve got some fantastic news for our Pay Monthly customers who have an Amazon Alexa device, or are looking to get one in the future. We’ve been working on a My O2 skill for Amazon Alexa and it’s now live on the Alexa Skills Store, so have a look and let us know how you get on with it!
What can the new skill do?
With the new My O2 skill for Amazon Alexa our Pay Monthly customers will be able to easily access their account information. Capabilities include hearing your latest bill, checking your data usage and understanding your tariff or upgrade options.
So, who’s got an Amazon Alexa/Echo device and is excited to give this skill a try? If you give it a go, please let us know how you get on!

Hi Davebo,
Yep, it should work with your Alexa enabled device if you enable the skill:

Hi @Chris_K
Just a bit of feedback for you. I setup my new Echo over the weekend, and naturally when I'd finished playing silly games and asking for jokes, the first skill I tried to set up was the MyO2 skill.
I've installed it no problem, however when it prompts me to link my MyO2 account and takes me to the login page, it seems to loop back to the Alexa homescreen after I've entered my login details, before the account is linked. 😞
Not sure whether anybody else has reported issues with this at all?

I had the Alexa Skill installed and used it quite often.
However today it says "My O2 for Alexa is now closed, you can still get information using the my O2 app"
It was pretty useful, any reason why it was closed, or even a reinstatement?
Its a bit of a poor show by O2, especially when another mobile network in the UK that starts with a "V" has a much better offering, where you can even make calls via Alexa.
It seems very much a backward step to me
Shunts...
