Don't think any of us are in for a good chance! I spoke with them this morning and was also told 3-4weeks from date of my order (27/10/17 conformation of order @ 8:24am).
If they tell you they have recieved stock i assume they are telling you what you want to hear to free up incoming calls...

To reiterate, guys, it's no good just saying when you ordered. Please try to include which handset you ordered so that it can help inform others who ordered the same.
I ordered the iPhone X 256GB Space Grey. Confirm received 08:11am on 27th October.
The last I heard was on the phone ti customer sevice. The representitive implied I would get it in December, but there is so much conflicting information that I have essentially no idea when I'm going to receive it. This is all after I was promised twice on 2nd November that I would receive it on launch day.
I'm so frustrated with O2 about this that I am incresingly tempted to cancel my order and order directly through Apple using their finance option. The only thing stopping me is the hope that if I don't do that, there is a chance I will receive it sooner.
It's not that I can't wait to receive the phone, it's the lack of clarity having already paid a deposit and signed up for a financial arrengement for a >£1,000 phone!
