Hey everyone,

We’ve got some exciting news to share this week, as well as a reminder on some of our fantastic Christmas deals and offers.

Firstly if you’re not familiar with O2 Extras, it’s a way for you to get a little extra, on us. When you take out selected O2 Refresh phone, tablet and sim only contracts, you'll get to handpick an extra for up to 6 months*, on us. See the selected device and sim only contracts here.

We’re super excited to announce that Amazon Prime is now available as of today as an O2 Extra! That’s right, the full Amazon Prime subscription is now available for up to 6 months depending on the tariff you choose. And if you’re an existing customer and not ready to upgrade, you can add Amazon Prime to your account for £8.99/mo and get a £2/mo discount on your airtime plan (minimum 6 month term applies)

Benefits of Amazon Prime include:

  • Amazon Delivery: Unlimited one-day delivery on millions of items
  • Amazon Prime Video: Thousands of movies and TV shows to stream, anywhere, anytime
  • Amazon Prime Gaming: Unlock instant access to tons of exclusive content for your favourite game
  • Amazon Music: Get instant access to 100 million songs ad-free, plus hundreds of playlists
  • Amazon Prime Reading: Each month, Prime members get access to a rotating selection of eBooks, magazines, comics and more!

For the keen eyed amongst you, our existing Amazon Prime Video O2 Extra has now been removed since this is included as a benefit within the new Amazon Prime Extra. If you already have Prime Video as an O2 Extra, it will continue to work as expected with no interruption to your service.

You would need to cancel your current prime membership, and then sign up using the o2 details, as this is how all Amazon offers work...

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

So your saying that I can't just cancel my prime subscription first then sign up with my Amazon account? So what's the bit about returning customers?

I would speak to Amazon,  but they way they work it with these offers usually. is that you cancel your current Prime Subscription, and then resubscribe to Prime using the details provided by o2.

Just be aware of the terms:
