Update 2019: we'd love to keep adding more quotes in this topic during this year so give us a shout if you spot any that you feel would be great to add! Recently added:

Well what happened was, the regulars got a PM from Admin asking us to give reasons why we enjoyed being part of the community. So if you didn't reply to the PM you didn't get a mention...

However, if you didn't actually get a PM..... then that's a reason to get miffed off.
