Hi, I have volt benefits, and am traveling to the United States tomorrow.

Will my free O2 travel benefits be applied automatically, or do I need to do anything first to activate them?

Also I have 20gb of data, doubled to 40gb with volt...is that the data I'll have available to use whilst away? And can I phone, text etc, as usual for free whilst away?

TIA

Volt gives you travel inclusive.

See guide here for what you get Guide: Roaming MegaGuide

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Beware O2 restrict data speed to a ridiculously low 0.5Mbs.

OK for email but not much else.

If you need maps etc, download them on WiFi beforehand

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Hi, thanks both for your replies.

Do I have to do anything myself to activate the O2 travel though please, or will it automatically work for free once I arrive?

Thanks again.

Just check you have the travel inclusive bolt on in your MyO2 and if so, that's all you need.
