How can I confirm that I can use my mobile in Canada without incurring any additional cost?

It will depend on which package you have with O2

Go into My O2 and see if you have Travel Inclusive as one of your bolt ons.

If you have you can roam OK with no extra charges

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
