Solved: Swapping 3 number to active o2 number

I am currently with 3 and my contract ends in November.

My husband has an o2 sim which came with Virgin Media package.

He does not use mobiles and we only got it as he needed to get NHS app for Covid status when going abroad, so is a total waste of money as he never uses the phone

Can I transfer my 3 number to the o2 account as I want to take this over, even though the number and account with o2 has been active for a few months now.
