Hello, do I need to contact 02 before I am able to use my phone in the USA as I have the travel inclusive zone included on my tariff?

You will need to make sure you have 4g calling enabled on your account.

USA - Roaming with O2 

Note also that data speeds are restricted to 0.5mbps

@Ian16 If you're going to be in the US for any length of time and think that you will need to use data you should think about getting a Pay & Go sim from AT&T or T-Mobile. With O2's restriction on data speed you'll be lucky if you can check your email. Use the available free WiFi, but you should also think about getting a VPN if using public WiFi.

You can download Google maps over WiFi and use it without data as well.
