Is it possible to recover voicemails recorded before porting number to another carrier?

Not unless you have them backed up somewhere.

Voicemails are not stored indefinitely anyway.

The length of time before they are deleted is down to your carrier

Lot of people forget that and tragically lose important or sentimental stuff

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
