Hi

I’m in USA. I paid for USA O2 travel add-on before leaving. As soon as I landed I got a message saying:

You've now hit your 50MB/£51.50 limit. If you want to use more you'll need to increase your monthly spending limit to £120 (200MB) by texting DATALIMIT200 to 23336. For terms see o2.co.uk/terms

I also have no use of my phone without WiFi. I also see a £40 charge on my bill for one day use.

I have an iPhone 14.

1. Why am I being charged after I’d paid for roaming £6 a day in USA service? Plus additional top up

2 why can’t I use my phone on cellular service?

@Peanut1742

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

USA - Roaming with O2

Remember, once sorted you need to have 4G Calling to make voice calls in the USA

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
