What are 'rolling Airtime Plan' charges?

I have had a text saying my rolling Airtime Charges are £17.69.  What are these please?

@Jeff6 It's you monthly airtime bill.

Sounds like you've paid off your device plan so your airtime is now a rolling 30 day contract.

You may find a better sim only deal that you can upgrade to now if you wish https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/sim-only-deals#deviceType=phone&contractLength=Featured
