Unbarring not working

I reported my phone lost/stolen and had it barred while preparing to sort something out. Luckily someone found my phone and very kindly sent it back to me, I've now contacted customer services three times to have my phone unbarred and each time nothing's happened. The temporary PAYG SIM hasn't worked in it, nor has the new monthly SIM I was sent, that was apparently activated to have my old number transferred across. I've still got zero SIM service on my phone - is it basically a very expensive brick now, or is there a solution to this? I can't keep waiting 24 hour periods to see yet again that unbarring/unlocking/number migration hasn't worked.

We’re just customers, like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. if you send them a message on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), or you can call 202 from your o2 phone

Ask them to replace your phone if they can't unblock it.

That should get them to figure it out for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
