I picked up my daughters new replacement handset from apple store today. Switched it on and expected it to just work. no network coverage and no help from apple.

Does anyone know why its so hard to get an eSim re downloaded onto another phone. Why is there no backup or place to keep the QR code so it can be used again?

I have waited for 1.5 hrs for support with an expert and nothing has helped. I was signed off and the issue had not been resolved. I do not have the whote banner on the top of MyO2 that tells me to download eSim!

Has anyone else had this issue???

Quickest way is to go in store with photo ID.

Using a plastic sim avoids these issues as esims cannot be transferred with O2.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

ESIMs and O2 are a poor mix.

Has to be a new download everytime you move phones.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
