Hello, I am using a o2 sim in a 5G router and this morning no internet. I checked o2 status and they do say a mast is not working properly. But I tried swapping my o2 sim in my phone with the router sim and all worked fine. The router sim in my phone gets data fine and my phone sim in the 5g router gets data fine. I tried bringing the router into work this morning and I am having the exact same thing. What is going on?

If it is a wired router then using a standard SIM is not allowed under O2 Terms and Conditions. If the system gets an indication it is it may be disabled

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Drewbk

Check the apn in the router is correct and or do a factory reset to clear any corruption.

I just spoke to o2 customer service who said I have a sim only deal with unlimited data so there would be no reason why the router would be blocked.

What error message are you getting on the router? Can you get into the settings?
What is the router?

Also be very aware that unlimited does NOT mean unlimited there is a FUP of 650GB per month

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

I had very little time before work this morning, just tried rebooting and swapping over sim cards. It is a ZTE G5B. I will have a proper look at everything tonight. I am am not using anything like 650GB.
