I got a call from a woman who said I had phoned her daughter. I had not used my phone at all today until then. So it wasn't me. I understand this is called spoofing - someone uses my phone number without permission and it doesn't appear in my list of calls. Is there some way I can prevent this? I can't get through to O2 to discuss this with anyone.

There's been a lot of number spoofing from scammers lately. See this link for what you can do.

Nothing you can do unfortunately.

Spammers just select numbers at random to use and then move on to a different number.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
