Hi, I have just returned from Spain and was unable to access mobile data as it was only displaying 3G in the top right hand corner with no option to connect to 4G in the settings ( iphone 13 pro), only 5G which obviously was unavailable in that area. This is despite 2 others in our party ( both on o2) connecting to 4G automatically. I tried all of the suggestions I could find online, including toggling on and off airplane mode and moile data and restarting phone buy with no success. Any ideas please?

Some things to try in future:
Manually search for another network
Reboot the phone
Turn off 4g in network settings
If you have an iPhone change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
If still not working then contact O2 to remove the Roaming bar on your account.
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
