Porting in of number

Hi

 

I initiated a porting in of my number from Three to O2 on 28 Dec when O2 were provided with the PAC code.

 

The number associated with my O2 account on the O2 web site has now moved to my old number so all is good as O2 ave recognised. I appear to be calling from my old number too so assume some form of porting has taken place.

 

However there are a few things.

 

1) I have not received any text messages from o2 advising that porting has started or finished. This is after two days and I had been informed that it would take 24 hours.

2) In device info, my iphone still shows as the wrong number i.e. not the number that I am porting in.

3) Text messages are not being delivered (imessages are working ok as they are still assigned to my old number).

 

Does the above suggest that my number has not been ported yet?

Take a look here, iPhone number can be changed in settings and then a reboot - other stuff after that may need help from O2.
