Have an iphone7 have set mobile data to mobile.o2.co.uk but phone and messages won’t work. U.K. mobile number **********

Some things to try:
Manually search for another network
Reboot the phone
Turn off 5g in network settings
Make sure Airplane mode is Off
If still not working then contact O2 to remove the Roaming bar on your account.
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , X Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Is it PAYG? Apparently it appears Italian networks are not connecting phones that don't have 4G Calling
Same would apply to a contract phone not using 4G calling
