I’m on my first O2 monthly plan and just put my card into the app. After confirming my card, the app declined the transaction and asked me to try use a different card. I tried this process again with the same card with the same results. However when I checked my hsbc mobile banking app I noticed I was charged both times even when the plan has not begun.
It is now currently pending and I would like to know what to do and how to get my money back.

You need to speak to HSBC as o2 dont have your money, HSBC has ring fenced it, as the payment wasn't finalised / completed.
This normally drops back into your account with HSBC anywhere between 48 and 7 days after the transaction.
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
