No service after number swap

Hi. I cancelled one o2 account and created another - both sim only. On Thursday I rang o2 to ask to swap my number to the new sim / contract. They said they would close my old account & move my number across in 24 hours.
Today I’ve woken up with no signal all day!! Rang o2 this morning for them to tell me my account was closed before my number was moved across, brilliant.
I was then told another team would look into it and have it transferred over in 4 hours, we’ll it’s now been over 7 hours and I’m getting concerned as I rely heavily on signal away from wifi. 
Any help asap would be greatly appreciated!!

Did you cancel the first account before opening the new account? as both the old and new accounts have to be active at the same for any migration to take place??

Hi! Yes both accounts were active when I requested the swap. But as mentioned I believe someone from o2 turned one off before the swap had fully completed! Thank you, I’ve messaged Emma back slight_smile
