I am travelling in Europe for the first time since changing from Virgin and cannot access data. Phone calls work fine and I am locked onto Orange F. Data roaming is ON. I have just had a very frustrating call with the helpline - and then the call dropped out.

If using an iPhone make sure the APN is mobile.o2.co.uk

I have copied my wife’s (working) phone and tried data.o2.co.uk but no change

As mentioned above by @Enlli , you need to set yours to "mobile.o2.co.uk" as you appear to not have idata enabled on your account.
