Hi, I have an iPhone 12 which I have never had any issues with abroad before. I’m currently in France and can’t setup call forwarding or use my hotspot. With call forwarding, when I go into it via settings my signal immediately drops from 5g to 3G and it won’t accept the phone number I put in. I’ve tried doing it via the phone codes but all I get is an error message. With hotspot, it says it’s on but nothing can find it.

@Mattjazz

What is your data apn set to?

For your hotspot, you need idata.o2.co.uk, but if you don't have the idata bolt on enabled, it won't work.

You need to contact O2 to check Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Data and hotspot are both set to the above. I can access data fine, it’s just those two things that aren’t working

Ah, Business account, many differences, you need to call 8002 from your mobile, I think the numbers and times are also in the link given above. Good luck!
