I've got a new phone with 02 Sim.

o2 are moving my  Old Virgin number from my old phone across to my new o2 Sim in new phone tomorrow.

I got a message from o2 in my old virgin phone to turn off my phone tomorrow untill 6pm , while the 'port' transfer takes place.

Which phone do I turn off...Old Virgin ...New o2...or both?

Thanks.

@Maggie5

No need to turn either phone off until the porting process starts.

1st step will be the Virgin sim turning off. You will see no network connection on the Virgin phone.

2nd step will need you to turn the O2 phone off and on to see if it gets a network connection. This is usually a couple of hours after the Virgin sim turns off so reboot the O2 phone every hour or so until you get a signal.
