Hi
I bounce between Northern Ireland and Ireland for work, nightmare when i come into Ireland with calls and data.
Do i need to change anything - roaming is set up and all looks well on the phone?

Some things to try:
Manually search for another network
Reboot the phone
If you have an iPhone change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
If still not working then contact O2 to remove the Roaming bar on your account.
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

When I was doing this for work, Dublin to Belfast every week, I found quickly switching the phone into AirPlane Mode and then out of it sorted it each time
I will add this was a time before 5G, and my enterprise sim always worked without this faffing..
