We are experiencing problems with our Android devices with O2 Business Sims installed.
If you boot them up they create a data connection fine using APN mobile.o2.co.uk over a 4G connection.
After around 2 days of being switched on (this is a bench test, so they are not moving), the internet connection has dropped and to re-connect we have to go into Airplane mode and back out fo the data connection to be re-established.
We get a line through the data connection indicator on the top of the screen in Android.
During the time when we have no internet connection, the device can recive and send phone calls, and SMS messages, but no data to the internet.
We do have a similar issue with other devices that are out across the UK, and we are trying to replicate this in our office, hence why we are not moving them.
Is there any issues with keeping a data connection open over 4G?
We are checking but some older Sims using 3G do to seem to have the problem.
