i have just upgraded to a IPhone 15 from a 12,  i am planning on give my 12 to a friend who is on different network,  can anyone tell me if my 12 would be blocked to other networks or will it be ok

The iPhone 12 should be unlocked already, as o2 havent locked handsets for about 7 or 8 years. 

Best way to check is to put the other network sim in the phone..  

 

Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card  just in case

O2 do not lock phones so it will be fine to use.
