I have stopped getting notifications of new incoming emails. All setting are set to receive sound notifications, but I don't get any. Why

Try deleting your email account from your phone and then add it again.

What phone are you using, as you may jut need to reset the notification setting within the App Settings.
On Android its under the App, if you long press on the App, then App Info, you will see a Notifications option.
On IOS, go into settings and search notifications...
