Hello, I am looking for some help/advice. I am living in another country until July/August time and I am half way through a contract with O2. Now as you may understand I do not want to be paying for an airtime bill that I am not using so I wanted to cancel my contract (I do not mind paying off the remainder of my device plan as it will save me money in the long run). I do not want to lose my phone number for when I return to the UK though. Please can you tell me what the best way to go about this is.

@nicyh If you pay off your device you could then switch your airtime to a Pay & Go sim to keep your number, and then switch it back to Pay Monthly when you return to the UK. If you contact O2 via social media, they will be able to advise you on how to do this:

Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
